good winter squash look for those that feel heavier than
they appear. Although the large squash are favored for decorations,
the smaller ones have better flavors. The Irish and British
custom of Jack-O-Lantern cutting goes back to a story about
a blacksmith named Jack who sold his soul to the Devil for
a hefty profit.
