Limes are simliar to lemons however provide a sweeter
flavor. They are picked from the same trees year round and
provide 2-3 crops per season. Good limes are a rich, consistent
green color and have a very firm skin. The name Limey comes
from British sailors because they ate limes to avoid scurvy.
