OK Produce was established in 1950 when Charles Matoian agreed to deliver farm fresh produce on a daily basis to retail stores throughout the San Joaquin Valley. His son Matty started working in the family business in 1955 at age 12. In 1979, he took over as president of the company. With emphasis on quality and service, OK Produce has grown into a leading wholesale distributor serving supermarkets and restaurants. Matty's oldest son Chad took on the family tradition in 1998 and today is a member of the buying department. More recently, Matty's son Brady has joined the OK Produce team.
